Import a PKCS#12 file or a CA certificate(X.509) into Android.


PKCS#12


- Import a certificate, a private key and a CA certificate.


  1. Transfer and copy your PCKS#12 file (e.g. remotehost1.example.com.p12) including your certificate, your private key and a CA certificate from your PC or computer.
  2. Tap Settings > Security > Credential storage: Install from Storage.
  3. Tap the copied PKCS#12 file (e.g. remotehost1.example.com.p12).
  4. Enter the password to extract the PKCS#12 file and lick OK.
  5. Enter the certificate name (e.g. CertForAlice), select VPN and apps as credential use and click OK.


CA certificate (X.509)


- Import a CA certificate.


  1. Transfer and copy your CA certificate file (e.g. testca.example.com.crt) from your PC or computer.
  2. Tap Settings > Security > Credential storage: Install from Storage.
  3. Tap the copied file (e.g. testca.example.com.crt).
  4. Enter your Android device password and click OK.
  5. Enter the certificate name, select VPN and apps as credential use and click OK.
